Viral TikToker Nara Smith Responds to "Hateful" and "Spiteful" Criticism
Nara Smith thinks comments about someone's body are a recipe for disaster.
The TikToker—known for her from-scratch cooking videos on the platform—spoke out after fans accused her of using Ozempic as a weight loss drug following the birth of her and husband Lucky Blue Smith's 3-month-old daughter Whimsy Lou.
In a video shared to TikTok Aug. 5, Nara, 22, made homemade potato chips while wearing a form-fitting, long-sleeve black dress. The ensemble drew speculation from fans, with one user writing, "Give us the Ozempic recipe!"
Another added, "GIRL PLEASE STOP THEM OZEMPIC. U don't need it!"
And Nara—who also shares daughter Rumble Honey, 3, and son Slim Easy, 2, with Lucky—didn't let the accusations go unnoticed. Replying to the latter user's comment, she wrote, "Let's stop accusing people of taking ozempic."
Of course, this isn't the first time the influencer has addressed criticism. Earlier this month, Nara reacted to claims that her cooking videos and vlogs promote the "tradwife" lifestyle, a.k.a. the viral label given to social media stars whose content adheres to the traditional gender roles of a wife, homemaker and stay-at-home mom.

From her perspective, she and Lucky—who is also father to daughter Gravity Blue, 7, with ex Stormi Bree—are equal partners when it comes to running their household.

“It’s not so much about: Oh, I need to make my husband a meal right now, or else he’s going to be mad,” Nara explained to GQ in an interview published Aug. 7. “He does cleanup. Which I’m grateful for, because I hate that part.”
And while she noted that her videos can often take hours to make and edit, Nara also emphasized that her social media career was born out of her genuine passion for food and fashion.
"I have fun doing these videos, doing these things and experiments," she said, "making something from scratch, and knowing what's in my food."
Nara added, "And I love dressing up. I love doing my makeup and looking put together, and I love cooking in cool outfits."
